She was mad at Doris anyway, and so she hunted everywhere for her sketch, but she couldn't find it. I was pretty near giving up then, for I thought I was mistaken; but the men were just making ready to take out Leighton's ashes when I thought, like a flash, 'There's where it would be, if anywhere,' and I told Geraldine. So we got sticks and we rummaged. My gracious, but it was dusty!","So it is a performance, after all?" said David, carelessly.,CHAPTER II.,"It is cruel," says Violet, with suppressed but ardent ire.，"Yes, that is just what occurred to me," says Mona, nodding her head sympathetically.，"It's my own collar an' tie," Anson declared, "Bill give it to me."，"I am so glad you have come, darling," says little Dorothy, taking off her hat, and laying it on a chair near her."No, I didn't really mean that," cried Elinor, repentantly. I speak, of course, of only minor sorrows; such a grief as poor Kitty's admits of no alleviation. It will last for her lifetime.".
